OVERVIEW

University of Mysore was established in 1906. It offers various UG, PG and M.Phil & Ph.D. courses along with Diploma PG Diploma courses in different disciplines. Application form can be filled by visiting the official website of Mysore University followed by submission through post or in person. In addition to the regular courses, the university also offers distance learning programs in various disciplines through Mysore University DDE.

• For admission to B.Arch and B.Plan courses, NATA score is mandatory.
• B.Com-LL.B and BA-LL.B admissions are completely merit-based.
• Admission to B.P.Ed program is also merit-based, but candidates have to pass a Physical Efficiency Test conducted by the university.
  Admission to all the PG courses such as M.Tech, MA, M.Sc, M.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.Li.I.Sc, MSW, M.com and LL.M is offered on the basis of Postgraduate Entrance Exam (PGEE) conducted by Mysore University.
• Admission to MCA, M.Tech (CCT/ CST) and MBA (General) courses is offered as per the guidelines issued by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
• M.Phil & Ph.D. admission is also based on an entrance exam conducted by the university followed by an interview. CSIR NET/ UGC NET/ GATE/ JRF or any other equivalent exam passed candidates are exempted from the entrance test.
